It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Crookwell High School. We are a small rural school, well known and respected in our community, with strong values based around the ideologies of Respect, Responsibility and Prosper.
At Crookwell High School we aspire to prepare our students to be independent, motivated, resilient, life-long learners who make positive contributions to society. This vision underpins our practice and planning for educational and extra-curricular success for our students.
As a smaller school, we are very well placed to ensure all of our students are known, valued and cared for. Our staff are trained to deliver on strong wellbeing structures, ensuring that student support and growth is at the core of what we do.
We have had great successes in areas such as STEM, agriculture and sport, frequently achieving outstanding outcomes even against schools far larger than ours. Our student pathways to university, trades and further education are significantly higher that our cohort size would normally be associated with.
We are innovative and resourceful in ensuring that we offer a diverse curriculum, catering for students with a variety of learning needs, and academic and vocational goals. Our close relationship with our community has enabled many leadership pathways, and our extra-curricular offerings.
Our school is nestled in large areas of green space, and our agricultural facility supports learning that reflects our wider agricultural community. We provide a nurturing and supportive environment with highly skilled and caring staff, within a close knit school community.
